Simple meatballs

With 5 ingredients, you can't go wrong with these meatballs. A simple base for delicious, juicy meatballs. Feel free to add extra ingredients to your liking, such as parsley, coriander or finely ground lemongrass, but with these five you're sure to be fine!

for 3-4 persons

500 grams of ground beef
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 medium shallot, finely chopped
15 ml fish sauce
10 grams of sugar

Mix the minced meat with the garlic, shallot, fish sauce and sugar in a bowl. Knead well until everything is evenly distributed.

Roll the balls to the desired size.

Heat a little oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the meatballs until golden brown all around, about 6–10 minutes, depending on the size of the balls, until cooked through.

Serve them with rice, noodles or as a snack. Delicious with our fish sauce dressing.
